Techcrane Provides Hose Handling Cranes

Currently Techcrane is a supplier of hose handling cranes for most major fuel transport companies with their projects being completed at various shipyards along the Gulf and around the U.S. The cranes are being tailor made to accommodate various requirements such as multi product handling, multi point lifting and a special emergency payout system to help prevent inadvertent damage to the boom. The cranes range in capacity from 2.5 tons to 50 tons and are installed one on each side of the vessel or one in the center line of the ship servicing port and starboard.

Halliburton Logging Services Indonesia has completed and commissioned an integrated wireline self-propelled Landing Craft Transport barge which will work in the Tatun area of East Kalimantan. This self propelled integrated LCT barge includes Techcrane model T60 telescopic pedestal mounted marine crane rated at 30 tons and with a boom extending to 30.5 meters.

Multi product hose handling crane for Bouchard Transportation

These cranes were specially designed to transfer 5 tons of load at any boom radius and can be installed mid ship or port and starboard. The hammerhead boom lifts hoses handling and transferring two separate products simultaneously. Each transfer hose can weigh as much as 5,000 lbs. and is supported throughout the length of the boom to maximize the protection. This crane is retrofitted with stainless steel components and fittings. A special marine grade paint system protects the crane from abuse from salt water and UV rays.
